Default Anybody ever been to Las Vegas?

My wife and I are trying to plan a trip to Vegas for our wedding anniversary later this year. Even though I hate to gamble, I always wanted to visit this city. Does anybody know of good places to visit while down there? How was it?

Vegas baby!

I had the pleasure of spending some time there a few years ago. I'm not a big gambler myself, so most of the time my friend and I just wandered around from casino to casino checking out the amusement park atmosphere.
If you're a Star Trek fan, check out the Star Trek experience at the Las Vegas Hilton - it's a great interactive attraction.
For a great view of the entire city, be sure to take a ride to the top of their "Eiffel Tower" and have a look.
New York New York is a really fun spot, especially for a New Yorker, Thier rollercoaster is a lot of fun.
Luxor is a really cool hotel. Ditto for the Venetian, Mandaly Bay, and Excalibur.
There are lots of rides and shows at each of the casinos and hotels, so you really don't have to gamble if you don't want to.

Oh, you can drink on the street there. That's what really made me fall in love with Vegas.

Thanks for the rundown. The Luxor for some reason has always fascinated me. Something about a pyramid I guess. What was your favorite hotel/casino?

Hmmm. Hard to say. For some reason, I got a great kick out of the whole "New York New York" thing. It was funny to see a condensed version of the Big Apple under one roof. The Bellagio was alot of fun too.

My father in-law is a super high roller at the Borgata in Atlantic City. He will most likely get us comped rooms at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas because I guess the two hotels are owned by the same people.

My parents and I went to Las Vegas last year. We stayed at Excalibur but we spent most of the time at New York, New York. The next time we go to Vegas I definitely want to stay at NY, NY.

My father and I walked along the strip the night we stayed there. It's really cool. One word of advice if you go and do that: there will be people handing out cards and magazines. Whatever you do, don't take them because they are pr0n.

Iv'e never been, but I'm going their, as well as to Arizona in September, to visit some family members that I haven't seen in a long time. I bought two round trip tickets for only $406.00. It's good to have friends in high places!! I'm looking forward to it though. I hope you and your wife have a good time on your honeymoon!!

I love Vegas! Even if you don't gamble, hit all the hotels. They've got something for everyone. And eat at one of the hotel buffets...you won't regret it!

Yes, I have been to Las Vegas! Very nice - yet VERY hot - place there! It's been nearly five years since I've been there. Co-workers who go there yearly have told me that it's changed SO much since then. I believe it since they are constantly adding new hotels.... Have fun there!

I haven't been there since I was 5, but Circus Circus was fun.

Actually, I thought within the Vegas city limits it was illegal, but the rest of the state was fair game. Maybe it was chaged.
