SO YOU WANT TO PRODUCE. I love the scene where Murray puts Sue Ann in the cake. Then she tastes it and says "needs more vanilla."

I forget the title of the episode but I love the episode where Sue Ann is making the strawberry swirl cake and forgets to turn the oven on! I think thats the same episode as when she makes the Veal Prince Orloff for Mary's party!! And Henry Winkler (a very young Henry Winkler) guests as Rhoda's date.

I have two favorites:

1: When Chuckles the clown dies.
2: There was an episode where Mary talked to Lou about losing weight, he took it the wrong way. He made some classic one liners in that episode.

This is always a hard question for me! LOL. There are SOOO many good ones, but I like the pilot, "Chuckles Bites the Dust" "Rhoda the Beautiful" and "Best of Enemies" among others.

PS-On a side note, I got Mary's autograph in the mail!!

Chuckles Bites the dust is my favorite along with the episode when Phyllis confronts Sue Anne about having an affair with Lars.

This show was on when I was a teenager, but I watched it every weekend. Since it's been so long, I don't remember very many specific episodes except for Chuckles. It was my favorite, but when they were showing it on TVLand, I saw a few others that I really liked. I like that episode where Mary is arrested for not revealing her source and she is in a cell with 2 hookers.

Mostly, I liked when she was with her newsroom co-workers and not so much with Rhoda and Phyllis. I really liked a lot of the episodes with Mary and Georgette.

"Chuckles Bites the Dust" is, and always will be, among my favorites, but in my mind, the episode wasn't as funny as "TBFBS," "Put on a Happy Face," "The Dinner Party" or "Not a Christmas Story," each of which is on contant rewind in my VCR.

There was one episode where Lou was concerned about declining ratings for the news show. He decided to give Ted two co-anchors and each would read stories on the air. Ted was displeased and wanted to be the sole anchor on the air. Mary was one of the new anchors. There was another one but it has been so long I don't remember the character's name.

My favorite episode would have to be:

#47: Some Of My Best Friends Is Rhoda:

Mary's car is accidently hit by another car, owned by a woman named JoAnne. They immediatly become friends, and Mary begins to start ignoring Rhoda. Mary and Joanne's friendship is blossoming until Mary finds out that Joanne belongs to a club that doesn't approve of jews, and Rhodas.
