DVD?
Checking In-1981 Grady-1975 Sanford Arms-1977 I would say Checking In because for some reason, I feel that in 2006, The Sanford and Son spinoffs will be released and the title will be-"The Sanford and Son Spinoffs" On the other hand, checking in may never be released on DVD because it only produced 4 eps and it's no other spinoff to combine it with. But Grady produced 12 eps and Sanford Arms produced 8 eps and not only that, they are both connected to a TV show that's complete on DVD. So you know the spinoffs are coming!!!!!! Trust me |

Sanford Arms - it has the best name recognition and both the Esther and Grady characters. Since neither this nor Grady lasted long, the best bet would be to package them together.

Look how many lasting shows with 4 or more seasons have not been released. I'll take Alice over Grady any day and twice on Sun..well everyday. |

My bad, I didn't read the whole post. I thought it said which show has the best chance. Disregard what I said, but I agree about the Sanford spinoffs.

I read that season 1 was very good. That's why I'm buying it. Even TV Guide felt season 1 was enjoyable. So that's enough for me to buy it |

Clifton was the straight man and I understand a lot of what you are saying about it being laid back. I'm sure when we all watch it again we can get down to the nitty gritty about what was good and what was ah, not so good. |

I'd get them all, but I think both Grady and Sanford Arms have the best chance for release.
Sanford & Son seems to have sold very well, while The Jeffersons for some bizarre unexplained reason continues to dissappoint Sony. |

If TV ONE ever picks up the Jeffersons, I won't have to worry about the show being released on DVD |

Well the fact that I would be able to convert my UNCUT versions to DVD in 2006, I wouldn't need to by any more seasons on DVD |
