Default Arrested Development is coming to 'The Comedy Channel'

As of the 1st of August 'The Comedy Channel' is airing the entire first season. Episodes will air on Friday at 8pm and Sunday at 7-9pm.

Does anybody know why Channel 7 axed it midway through the season?

All I can say is thank god for dvd's.

I believe the poster is referring to a channel in Australia.

FINALLY you guys will have a good show. I lived in Australia for 2 years and, no offence, but your TV......BLOWS. Sweet mother TV in Oz sucks. I am so happy for you guys. Now you can laugh, cry, and most likely be a little confused.

I'd be more offended if you said it was slick, diverse and not crap. Our dramas are okay (it'd be better if they weren't all set in quaint country towns), but our comedy, which are far and few between, are all big steaming pieces of crapola. You should see the latest comedy show. It's the worst thing I've ever seen. Amazingly, it's been touted as comedy genius, but in reality, it's a show so devoid of laughs, you want to kill yourself after enduring ten minutes of it.

Haha! If it's any worse than Skithouse, then I am surprised. That show made me want to stick my fingers into my eyes, push them back into my head, hook my brain with my thumb and index finger, and pull it out my nose. That show is AWFUL.

What's this new comedy? What's it about? I'm so excited to hear an Australian say that your TV sucks. Every Australian I talked to thought their shows were HILARIOUS and genuis and SO original. It pained me.

It pains me too. The show in question, 'We Can Be Heroes' is the piece of S-H-I-T that finally blocked the toilet bowl that is Australian comedy. In a nutshell, the show follows the lives of 5 people vying for Australian Of The Year. It's completely absurd. The characters, which include a self absorbed female teenager and a daggy mother, are played by a male actor. Yep, you heard me, the male actor plays the part of a teenage girl, and a daggy middle aged woman. And that's not even the worst part. One of the characters is vying for the AOTY because he underwent the first ear transplant to help his hearing impaired brother. God, I wish I could have an ear transplant. My ears feel so dirty. Even that's not as bad as why the daggy mother is vying for 'AOTY'. Brace yourself, because this borders on insanity. The mother is in the running for 'AOTY' because she rolled from Perth to Fremantle(I'm serious) and is now planning on rolling to Ayer's rock. After hearing that I considered flying to Ayer's rock just to jump off and unburden myself of the knowledge that this show actually exists . Check out the website. You're gonna' laugh your ass off.

Our two sketch shows, 'S-H-I-Thouse', and 'Comedy INCapable' are just as bad. I'm not ashamed to say that I only watch American TV.

Wow. I respect you so much. I fled from Australia and quickly as I could. You still live there. Bravest person I've ever encountered.

I don't know if you saw Tuesdays nights episode of 'The Tonight Show', but it featured some guy called ''The Big Mouthed Aussie''. This guys claim to fame was that he could fit his fist, and other assorted items, in his mouth. Pretty stupid, huh? But then again, a few months ago there was an American who sliced Jay's initials into his toenails. I guess what I'm trying to say is that every country has its stupidness. There are good and bad things about every country.

It's "country" and it's. Or its. I don't know. It's too late for me to think right now. Plus, I'm a Californian, we don't have good schools.

****. I thought I copied and pasted your qoute, but obviously I didn't.

As for California not having good schools, I think, as you can no doubt tell, that it is a universal problem.
