Default Another Three's Company Moment when Larry makes a fool out of Jack

I'm watching the Grandma Traipper episode last night and Larry again makes a fool out of Jack. Why would Jack go pick up a $10,000 check without a FULL NAME?-lol Larry said they were expecting Grandma Tripper unless the scene when Larry says the first name is cut by TV LAND. But it was still starnge that Jack would go to pick up a check and say-"hi, I'm grandma Tripper"-lol Instead of woman;s name in front of Tripper.

I agree with you.Plus I didn't like Larry in that one because he said he talked Terri into doing something, but I know it isn't that talked her into puting out because in Odd Couples, she says that she doesn't put out

Jack:Why wouldn't you get it?You're smart,you're experience,you're hardworking

Terri:I don't put out

Jack:You don't...you know Terri I've been meaning to talk to you about that

I think the reason Jack kept forgiving Larry for all of the horrible things he did was because Larry was Jack's only friend other than the girls. Jack also has a very passive personality. I'm the same way, so it's easy for me to see that in him. He wants to keep his friends, so no matter what they do to him, he keeps forgiving them. Being that way causes a lot of heart ache in life, believe me, I know. I've learned though that it is better to have no friends than to have friends who walk all over you and treat you like dirt. Jack was trying to do the right thing for the wrong reasons. Call it being a "pushover" if you want, but I know how he felt, cause I've been there.

I've always wondered about that episode. Why wouldn't Larry use a woman's first name? They're not going to write "Grandma" on the check!

Also, why didn't Jack have Terri or Janet put on a gray wig and pretend to be "Grandma"? He didn't know he'd have to bake the cookies so that wasn't the reason. Sure, if they asked for an ID, Janet or Terri couldn't produce one that said Tripper, but by the same token Jack didn't have an ID with a female's first name either!

Wasn't that ridiculous? They needed the money so bad and he risked losing it by acting foolish.

Also, I'm surprised that woman didn't get up and move away from him. Why would she want either an old woman hitting on her or a man dressed as an old woman?! Ewwww.
