Default The show-"Valerie" on NBC in 1986

Can someone tell me something about this show? I'm receiving 4 NBC eps of the show but can't find any info on the Show at all. Nothing showed up on Tv.com and the only thing I found in the Complete Directory of PrimeTime Shows Book was that it aired on Sunday Nights in the Fall of 86. There was nothing else on the show. Anyone know who stArred in this show?

That's because it's better known as the Hogan Family. It starred Valerie Harper from "Rhoda". Check under the Hogan Family and you'll get the answers you want. Here's a link http://www.tv.com/the-hogan-family/s...2/summary.html

ok THANKS, I see that Valerie was the Original Title and since Valerie Harper left the show, it was renamed The Hoagan Family.

It was also known as Valerie's Family for a year before it was renamed The Hogan Family.

Valerie Harper left the show in a well-publicised dispute with the producers.

i believed they took each other to court.

I loved this show too. I always been a fan of Jason Bateman since his Silver Spoon days.

I loved his new show on FOX too.

Sandy Duncan became the new mom on The Hogan Family.

She was their aunt......the husband's sister

Default Valerie was good until...

As a teen i loved Valerie for the first season, once Valerie left the show was totally different and became more of the Jason Bateman Teen Hearthrob Show.

Also Ms. Harper really hurt her career, she sued and went to court to prove a point and for $ and in the end, noone on tv would use her and her career really nosedived for several years. Why do tv actors think so highly of themselves? I mean she is a good actress, but get real.... every time a sitcom star goes to court, they end up losing more than its worth in the long run.

Examples--Suzanne Somers leave 3s company to move onto.....

Farrah leaves Charlies Angels.....

John and Tom leave Dukes of Hazzard... once they come back, the show has sank so far its cancelled in a year.

Come on guys, if u have a hit show, ride it out and try to make it work, dont get a big head.....

It aired on Sundays before it moved after Alf. . When it came on after Alf it was on Monday nights.

That's the one thing I remember about ALF, that it came on Monday Nights when I was in 7th grade. I don't have a clear memory of valerie/hogan Family being on Monday
