Cool

Um... there are many, but one that I can think of right now is Alex's reaction when he learns that Elyse is pregnant: "Girls... Mom's pregnant. Please leave the room, this is not a topic for females." Always cracks me up!

In the episode where Jennifer was trying to act cool and was saying, 'It's like, totally narly, ok?' That line I always find so funny.

Jennifer: Don't worry...he's not a normal boy.

Alex: You can be my friend even if you're not a republican.

My fave quote was from Steven who complains about the fact that the kids turned the house into a hotel on homecoming weekend.
Steven: Alex, parents are conditioned to accept certain problems when they leave their children alone at home. Spilled milk on the rug... a broken dish... There was a kangaroo in my living room.
Alex: It was just here for the party Dad.
Steven: Then I guess I'm overreacting.

Jennifer: I like the high school Mallory better than the college Mallory.

Alex: I think the entire line should be discontinued.

Lol, that was pretty funny.

I think my fave is when Elyse was showing Andy the family photos and making sure he knew was who, and she pointed to one picture and she said, "Who's that?" and Andy said, "That's Alex" and Elyse asked who Alex was, and Andy said, "Alex is KING!" LOL I just thought that line was so cute.

Alex: People who have money, don't need people. Because it sums up his character in one sentence.

My favorite quote was from the quiz off and alex is testing mallory.
Alex: Okay, what does the acrinm SCUBA mean?
Mallory: Well, that's kinda like skin diving right?
Alex: Yes, mallory
Mallory: (hesitantly) Self Contained Underwater Breathing Appreatise.
Alex: What?
Mallory: Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apperatise
Alex: By Goerge i think she's got it!
All the kids start jumping up and down and repeating SCUBA
Alex: And who invented it?
Mallory: magellen!
it cracks me up each time

So I probably haven't watched the show long enough to *really* be able to give a fav quote, but I can't help it, I love this bit *so much*!
Elyse: Have a good day at kindergarden today?
Alex: It was okay. We made pictures. *shows picture*
Elyse: Alex, this is beautiful! This is the nicest picture you've ever given me!
Alex: Thank you Mommy. I was thinking about you when I bought it.
Elyse: You bought it?
Alex: Uh-huh. Roger Zimmerman. He's the most talented artist in our class. Nothing's too good for *my* mommy!
Perfect display of his character, cracks me up, and it's *so adorable*!

Well, hmm, let's see. I agree with Winnie! That was the one I had in mind too.. Just the way Michael Gross delivers some of his lines makes them hysterical, and that one was no exception. If I had to pick one though, it would be...
Actually,I can't remember the exact quote, which will probably take the humor right out of this one, but I really liked the episode where Alex hired the house keeper who couldn't cook or clean and he asks here "so you have no experence, you can't clean, and you can't cook?" or something along those lines, then when she answers "no", he says "you're hired!" That was great!
