Great job by the E! people. It was basically stuff I already knew, but still fun to hear about the early stuff I didn't know.
But what was with the website guy saying "there was a huge uprising ON THE NET over the character of Seven"? Get outta here, the net?? It wasn't even around yet, at least in homes. There's no way a huge fan upheaval could've taken place. The 'Net came around in 94-95 and wasn't even that popular yet. It just bugged the hell outta me that the guy was so full of it. |

Ok, I worked on MWC season 7 when Seven made his debut. (I think now you got the origins of the name.) We DID get a tremendous mail response to dump the kid! He was on during the fall '92 episodes and magically disappeared in spring '93. People wrote in asking us to let him play in the traffic... and that was the best of them! And yes, perceptive of you... there was no internet to really speak of at that time! Columbia Pictures TV barely gave their offices computers - let alone early internet access! Most of the letters that we received - I swear they were written in crayon!
