Yeah, I don't know. I always thought The Jeffersons was the first real all black show. I always assumed that shows like Good Times and stuff were rip-offs. I was dissapointed when I looked up Good Times after watching a bit of that marathon and found out that it started BEFORE The Jeffersons.

I thought that at one time too. When i was 13, i thought the Jeffersons started before Good Times but years later i found out Good Times started one year before the Jeffersons

I believe it to be the total opposite of ALL IN THE FAMILY. The family is black and rich. George makes comments sometimes without thinking of what he is saying, just like Archie. They both think everyone should think like them.

Exactly, it would have only been a rich version of Good Times if George and Louise had 3 kids.
