1960's
1) Bonanza (I wish Sherrif Coffee lived in my town)
2) Lost in Space (Loved the adventure and the robot)
3) Andy Griffith (It makes me feel safe again)
4) Gunsmoke (I loved Festus and his mule)
5) My Favorite Martian (Are you people on Dope or something??)
1970's
1) Battlestar Galactica (Liked how they could hide from the siclons)
2) Little House on the Prarie (Good family show)
3) Sanford and Son (Redd Foxx can make me laugh)
4) All in the Family (Archie could make me laugh)
5) Voyagers (Better than Sliders, which ripped off this series)
1980's
1) Tour of Duty (Liked the brotherhood)
2) A-Team (Murdoc was my favorite character)
3) Wonder Woman (Dunno if it was 70's or 80's, but Linda made me into a man!)
4) Magnum (I want to live in hawaii on an estate and swim every morning)
5) Fantasy Island (I want to escape)
1990's
1) Dawsons Creek (Most under-rated show ever. I used to think it was for geeks, then I watched it and saw the writing was the best of any 90's show).
2) 90210 (Was my #1 favorite show, until I saw good writing)
3) Wiseguys (or was it a 80's show. It was short lived, but good)
4) there were only 3 good 90's shows, that is it!
Today-
1) I hate reality TV

3) I hate reality TV
you get the gist...

OK, ready?

1990s
1) Seinfeld
2) The Simpsons
3) Married With Children (went on too long, though)
4) Mad About You (also went on too long)
5) Wonder Years (listed as a sitcom on these boards)

1980s
1) Cheers
the rest of these were ok, but again, went on too long
2) Night Court
3) Cosby Show (went on way, way, way too long)
4) Family Ties (w.o.t.L)
5) Facts of Life (w.o.t.L)

1970s
1) The Mary Tyler Moore Show
2) The Odd Couple
3) The Brady Bunch
4) All in the Family
5) The Jeffersons

1960s
Impossible to pick, too many great shows
I had to leave out the Addams Family, Andy Griffith, Beverly Hillbillies, F Troop, Family Affair, My Three Sons, Petticoat Junction, Mr Ed...

1) The Dick van Dyke Show
2) Get Smart
3) Green Acres
4) Hogan's Heroes
5) Gomer Pyle, USMC

(IMO, the best decade for sitcoms, by far)

1950s
1) I Love Lucy
2) The Honeymooners (C39 only)
3) Burns and Allen
4) Leave it to Beaver
5) Father Knows Best

There were other good shows during the 50s, but these are almost the only ones that have gotten any air time at all over the last 30 years or so.. even Burns and Allen only had a (very) limited # of episodes shown on TV Land a couple of years ago... but the eps they showed were so good, that there's no question that this show was definitely on a par with Lucy and the Honeymooners...
