Yes. Hanna Barbera made those in the early 80's, along with Fonz and the Happy Days Gang, Mork & Mindy, and The Dukes (of Hazzard). They had done Jeannie in the 70's too.

Laverne & Shirley were in the army, getting into all kinds of adventures, following orders from a commanding pig...yeah all cartoon spin-offs had aminal sidekicks in those days...
