Default Fleet's Heaven - Post a Halloween Pic!

Fleet should love this thread - I can't wait for Halloween so let's start getting in the mood and post some memorable pics of Halloween's past!

Here's one of when we did a "Carribana" theme and turned the upstairs offices into a West Indian parade of colourful costumes. I'm on the left and was supposed to be a peacock (although you can't see my plumage in that pic). The credit manager was the Hula Girl and an accountant in the one of the actual costumes used in the parade.

Halloween pictures in July? I thought I was bad!

Anyway, here's a few to hold you over for a while:

Boy you sure must scare the hell out of the neighbourhood kids! I know I freaked out a few as Alice Cooper last year (which I had got some pics of it - even my husband said I looked just like him)!

Here's my Killer Bee - you can see the wings in the 2nd pic.

Here's the year we did Star Trek. I came as one of those "dispensible" characters who die before the end of the ep. Even our co. president got in the fun as Spock!

I don't think Spock had green ears! But a Star Trek theme was a good idea.

BTW, the photos I posted were not at my house (but I do set up a display in the garage). Those pics were from the Hallowed Haunting Grounds...

Oh really? I'll have to check that out. That candelabra looked like it was right off the Phantom set!
We did all kinds of themes each year - Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Wizard of Oz, Salute to Hollywood, Flintstones, The Circus - you name it. Yah - those bright green ears were a riot!

Our company was great - they'd let us take the afternoon before off and decorate our offices and then would have a panel of judges who went around and we'd win plaques, free dept. lunches, etc. It was really good for team building and morale. I won one year for Most Original Costume - a cat's hairball (pic below - boy was it hot in "funfur") and then Funniest (as a Sales Analyst Nerd).

That website has a lot of good photos. Some with time exposure cameras so the props could be seen better in the dark.

Two questions: Who was the T-Rex in Jurrassic Park and who was Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz?

I sure wish the company I work at would be as easygoing as yours. If I asked to take the afternoon off to decorate, I would just get a blank stare as if to say, "Are you crazy?"

Those are excellent! Thanks for helping me out - I figured you'd have pics - I don't want to look like I'm hogging anything!

Oh my god, such awesome costumes! I wish I had some Halloween related pics of me(I better take some next time, considering Halloween is my favorite holiday)

Do you guys have any plans for Halloween? What sorts of stuff do you like to do?

Yah, it helped that is was a greeting card company so it was kind of in keeping with the business.
I was Dorothy in the Wizard - I wish I had more pics of it - I have it on video as we re-inacted the whole movie! It took the entire upper floor of the building - 4 depts.!
The T-Rex was great - it even moved. So did the raptor you see - it spit "silly string"!

It was a TON of fun. You could forget working at all that da - we'd all just run around visiting all the depts. and partying! I was always exhausted after!
Here's when they did "Grease" - the one in the polkadots is on roller skates!
