Thumbs down Terrible

This is the most overrated show since "Friends." How can anyone stand to watch it. The only good thing about it is that it seems to be helping the ratings of The Simpsons. Otherwise, it can go straight to...

Thumbs up

I don't know... while I agree Friends is overrated, I don't feel that this show is... it is only one of about 3 or 4 new shows that I even watch anymore.

So far, I've only seen one bad episode (which almost made me "forget about even watching it"), and that was the second episode... but the other episodes have been great, and, for the most part, are pretty much all scripts that haven't been recycled. I really enjoyed the season closer, and I can't wait until September to see part 2 of that episode!

Hey, any show that features both They Might Be Giants, and WWF superstar "The Crippler" Chris Benoit in its opening credits...you know it has to be f'n brilliant!

I decided against watching this show because I didn't want to get attatched. Critically acclaimed? Uh-oh, sounds just like every other show on FOX I've ever decided to watch religiously that they cancelled! Action was the last series they got rid of that made me swear I wouldn't get attatched to any new comedies on FOX.

I totally agree Silentbri! The show doesn't even look that good but I knew if I even watched it once I would get hooked.

This show is decent but totally overhyped. Everybody says it's so original and brand new but it's nothing more than a rehash of shows Fox was putting out in the early nineties like 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose'. Malcolm overacts and you can tell through interviews that the majority of the cast has let all the unfounded critical acclaim go to their heads. Overall, it's an alright show with occasional laughs, but shouldn't be looked on as a savior. Especially to the sitcom genre. Besides, almost anything you put on after 'The Simpsons' does well at least for a season or two: 'King of the Hill', 'That 70s Show', 'Futurama', 'Family Guy'.

The only part of the show that really sucks is the brother in army cadet school. Those storylines are so boring. The producers are gonna run out of ideas fast on this. The best solution should be to move him back home.

I totally agree that this show is overrated. Most of the FOX shows are overrated, and they are becuase of one silly little thing, FOX pays millions on thier advertisements, and you would always see the advertisements until the ratings went up. They always showed That 70's Show advertisements, and they don't show them anymore. And look at Grounded For Life, that is a total failure of a sitcom, and FOX doesn't want to be embarrasses so they take the reels, throw them in the fire, and blow them up to kowasakis! I hate Malcolm In The Middle!

It's actually WWE now (I know this was posted when it was still WWF). Chris Benoit is also called the Rabid Wolverine and the Canadian Crippler. You can take that name two ways: he cripples Canadians or he's a Canadian that cripples people. I'm going with the latter. In the theme song, Bret Hart is turning over Benoit for the Sharpshooter, but if they had of continued the video footage, Benoit would have reversed the hold into the Crossface and made Bret tap out. Oh it's true, it's true!
