Brutal murder of an elderly Texas man in 1991 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It was just on Lifetime... the man was alone at his home after his family left to visit other relatives. He was unable to travel due to illness. While they were gone, the man was beaten to death and strangled. His truck and wallet the only things stolen. The same day, before the body was found, two hitchhikers rode with the murder suspect in the man's truck(unbeknowst to them). They called the authorities suspecting the truck was stolen but nothing had been reported yet. The next day the truck was found abandoned in Chicago. The update said the two hitchhikers would undergo hynopsis, but never said anything else. Has there been any other updates?

Well someone had mentioned this case yesterday and I was gonna edit it for my site but now that it aired I'll just work on another clip. I was hoping there would be some more updated info but there wasn't. I would really like to know if they guy was apprehended.

Yeah, that composite sketch of the guy with little pony tails was quite disturbing, and yet strangely funny. What I would like to know is what the guy told the two hitchhikers to make them so nervous. I know just on his appearance alone, it would've freaked me out to even accept a ride from this creep.
