Did any of you watch the 2005 Wimbledon matches? Congratulations to Roger Federer for his third straight Wimbledon title and to Venus Williams as well. I think it's interesting to see the different trophies that are awarded to the various champions. Here are some pictures from Yahoo! and the Wimbledon web page showing the trophies.

Men's Singles Champion Roger Federer and runner-up Andy Roddick

Ladies' Singles Champion Venus Williams and runner-up Lindsay Davenport

Men's Doubles Champions Wesley Moodie and Stephen Huss

Women's Doubles Champions Cara Black and Liezel Huber

Boys' Singles Champion Jeremy Chardy and runner-up Robin Haase

Girls' Singles Champion Agnieszka Radwanska and runner-up Tamira Paszek

If you look closely at the Girls' Runner-Up trophy, you will see that it is in the form of a small clock. That is definitely the very first time I've seen an awarded trophy for a big tournament take the form of a clock. It's almost more of a consolation prize than a trophy.
