Jackie? I like all the characters except Jackie. She was just a Goofball and was not funny. Added nothing to the show at all.

I actually liked Jackie. She was Roseanne's rock and best friend through it all. I can't imagine the show without her. Though I must say, Jackie got stupider and weirder as each season went by.... she was a very neurotic character towards the end.
It's important to note Laurie Metcalf who played Jackie, won 3 Emmys for the role, more than anyone else on the show. I must say, Laurie was perhaps the most talented and gifted actor on the show too. I always thought the character of DJ was completely useless. |

Jackie Is One Of My Absolute Favorite Characters. If You Haven't Seen the First 4 Seasons Then You Probally Think She's Goofy. She Was Real Good Until She Had The Baby After That She Acted Gay. Two Really good Episodes With Her In Them Are "An Officer And A Gentleman" and "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home"

I liked her at first, but she got on my nerves as the show went on (actually, the whole show did). The one I really couldn't stand was Sandra Bernhard - I just can't even take the constant, bitchy look on her face.

Yea I was the same way with Jackie. She eventually became to much probably around the time she began going out with Fred. She basically became a basket case.

I loved Jackie. I actually loved her throughout the entire show. Even when she became a complete nut, she still amused me. The show would not have been the same without her. I did like her a lot more in the first few seasons, but I never disliked her. There was just something about her that made her so great. I think what I like most about her is that her humor was so subtle in a way. It made her more hilarious. Many of the show's funny moments came from Jackie, in my opinion. She definately deserved her Emmy's.

I liked Jackie in the beginning until she had her baby. After she had her baby she just went wacko to put it nicely. For some reason her character just lost all its fun to me and became another dumb character in Roseanne World. I love the show with the execption of the last season, but she along with others around Roseanne became stupid and annoying.

Jackie was my second favorite character on the show right after Darlene. I thought she was hilarious in both the early, and later seasons, although I liked her character more in the early years. I don't think the show would have been half as good as it was if she weren't on it. She didn't win 3 Emmy's for nothing.

I loved her... sometimes even more than Roseanne. At times, her character did get annoying though.
Her phone call to Annie Barbara that their dad had died had me crying in the floor...
