Default Rerun's Dance

I was watching a Soul Train episode from 1972 and was able to see that the dance that Rerun did on the show was a popular dance in the 70's because it seemed like 80% of the people at Soul Train was doing that dance. And this was 4 years before What's Happening premeired on ABC. I always thought that dance was something created by Fred Berry. Never knew that dance was someting that everyone was doing on Soul Train.

...However after a while, I kinda got tired of Rerun doing those same robot-like moves. I'll give him this: For a guyhis size, he was very agile.

OMG Solomon - I still remember seeing those episodes on their first run!

Yah - The Robot was HUGE in the 70s - it actually came from good old Michael Jackson and caught on fast. Even us white chicks were doing it (although I'll bet I looked like an idiot - but thought I was major cool)!

I was at a Christmas dance a couple of years ago and busted the move - the singer of the band had me come up on stage and get everyone doing it - it was a riot!

But weird that the moment I read those two eps it all came back to me!

I was glad I got to finally see it because I never seen anyone do the Robot Dance like Michael Jackson. When I saw people do the Robot they stood in one spot. Michael on the otherhand, was WALKING and Moving his head like a Robot. Classic Stuff

Default I loved Reruns dancing

My favorite ep when rerun is dancing is the first ep of the first season

he was getting down too

it really takes me back to those time when all men danced
because your were not considered cool if you could not dance

then also on the ep I love the music he was dancing too

I love to watch pop locking

back then with those dance moves
it was really on the dance floor
LOL
