is there a place on the web that lists all of the UM cases AND THEIR LATEST UPDATES? kane (and others) do a great job of posting updates but it seems like there is no central repository for the updates. hence, people keep posting questions about cases we discussed on this board a week or a month before.
does something like this already exist? if so, where is it and can we have a permanant link to it. i looked around for it but must be missing it, if it does exist. thanks. njf |

i feel like you put in a lot of time (along with others) to update cases (like the randolph dial case). but, in a month someone will post a "whatever happened in the search for randolph dial and bobbi parker?" njf |

I apologize for asking about the Bobbie Parker case. I honestly did not know whether or not it was solved. |

I just don't know of any UM site that lists every single case the series profiled, or if one even exists. Maybe someone will consider developing such a site. But for now, we'll have to look at numerous other sites that list cases that happen to include ones that were profiled on UM. |

Well, I imagine that Echoes of Fear's site could put it up if we put the manpower into it. Compile all of the updates we can, get the episode guides, have a comprehensive list of each episode, and put any and all updates available.
That'd take a long, long time. |

but, what if we were able to compile a list of the tope 30 or 40 most popular segments? that wouldn't take too long. over time, we would hit 50, then 100 and so on. so, i suggest considering it as a project to compile a list of some episodes and not think of it as trying to compile every last episode. as i watch UM, i have my laptop next to me and i look up most stories as they are presented. i could easily add to the site as needed. thoughts? |

That would work. Compile as much information as possible, gather any updates, and post it here or log it.
The 50-100 most popular cases could be looked into, but it would be easier to do a day-by-day, since the information is right there. Find what episode it is and log the information. |

That would be alot of work considering the amount of solvable cases (Unexplained Deaths, Wanted, Missing Persons) that have been profiled on Unsolved Mysteries. No doubt it could be done but doing it alone would take me forever, literally. Perhaps if I had some help we'd get it done quicker.

again, let's not try and think of it as logging info on every single case. there are simply too many. but, a place to put info would be good. if any of us takes 5 minutes, i bet we can come up with 25 cases that a) are rather popular/famous and b) have been solved/concluded. all we need to do is compile that info. searching the forum for all of kane's updates would yeild a ton of info that we could cut and paste IF we had a place to put it. njf |

That works. We would start by running through the website and looking for updates to as many of those cases as possible? Those cases are pretty recent and would not be as hard to find updates for as some of the older cases.

Oops! No worries! I think the website you two have in the works, or possibly might have in the works is a wonderful idea! It'll be a lot of work, though. But I'd be willing to help some...I'm not very good at webmastering though. |
