I'm not sure if this topic has been done yet...probably has. Does anyone have any autographs from a famous person or people?

I have two autographs...Jami Gertz (from the early 1990's) and Nicole deBoer (from 1999). Anyone who knows me probably will not find this to be much of a surprise.

I have a signed playbill from the broadway musical "Hairspray", compliments of Kaitlyn. It's hanging on my fridge. It includes the autograph of Marissa Jaret Winokur, one of my favorite broadway actresses of all time. I cried when I first saw it.

Oh yeah... I also have a Nancy McKeon one and several personalized things from Lisa Whelchel, but what the hell do I want with those now?

Just stuff I bought off ebay. Oh, and Allison had to get me Richard Dawson's because when I wrote, it disappeared or I scared him or something.

I collect autographed pics as a hobby.

It's always a great conversation piece when I get together with my family. Here's a small list of what I have. I excluded a lot of people from this list because I didn't get actual autographs from them.

My autograph pictures of Jami and Nicole are a result of fan letters that I sent them, so for example, the one from Jami says, "To Mike, Best Wises, Jami Gertz". I think that makes them a little more personal and special then if I bought them off ebay.

About 90% of my pictures are personalized.

I send an index card with every letter I send out -- to explain the index card in my letters, I say something like "If you don't have a picture handy, I am enclosing an index card that you can sign. It's up to you if you want to sign it or not." and I also ask them to personalize their pictures to me, if possible.

Really...that is sort of suprising since when I got her autograph she was much more popular then she is now. Of course, she has a family now and probably wants to spend her free time with her husband and kids and not signing autographs. Do you have one of these preprints from Jami? I didn't notice it among your collection.
