I'm just guessing but these could have some of the reasons why some ABC stations in
some U.S. cities were hesistant to air Welcome Back Kotter after seeing the Pilot. In the Pilot, These were the things that stood out
Esptein saying he majored in ASSAULT Vinnie saying Epstein was voted most likely to take a life Freddie and Vinnie climbing through Mr. Kotter's window while he was on the couch with his wife. Esptein stealing Mr. Kotter's TV when he had his back turned I must say that the pilot was WILD-LOL Think about this, I saw all these things in a EDITED ep of the Pilot so can you imagine what was you would see in the Full Length episode? I can defintely understand why some ABC stations thought this show was too ROUGH |
