John Fiedler has died. He's best known as "Piglet" in the Winnie the Pooh movies, but we remember him best as Mr. Emil Peterson from "The Bob Newhart Show".

I've posted my condolences on other threads, but I do hope he's finally getting peace and quiet and not being bullied by Doris!

He also did a funny and sweet guest spot in the third season of Bewitched, as a man who wants Sam to turn him back into a frog.

I know it's an old thread but I'd just found it. I loved John Fielder's work...and he seemed like a cool guy, too!

I also loved Mr. Peterson's rivalry with Mr. Gianelli (Noam Pitlik). Their arguments were hysterical!

yep - boy did he get picked on.

And yeah, I remember the frog episode. Sam tried to find him a "hot frog" and she was about twice his size as a human. Funny ep.

Always with that whiney, raspy voice too.
