Talking Does anyone Agree........

Does anyone agree with me that L&S was better then "Happy Days"? (No Offense, HD Lovers) Just wanted to bring this up because usually spinoffs aren't as good.

Marianne: Well, look! It's Pocahantas Purneli, the town halfbreed! Half indian, and half dressed! Come in Poke!
Pocahantas: Maryanne, I know there's something desperatly missing in your life!
Maryanne: How did you know?
Pochantas: I saw it in your eyes, I read it in your face, I read it on your bumpersticker that says "Welcome, Shriners"!

Shirley: Rhonda, if your not out of here on the count of three, Laverne here will shave your head, and you can be in "The King and I"!

Well...I only watch the California episodes of L&S because I think that the Milwaukee ones are so dull...but HD steals the show...it was good throughout, and got better when Richie left, as L&S did when Shirley left.

I sure thought Laverne and Shirley was better than the show it had spun off from.I definitely prefer a show which has optomism and friendship to a show which glorifies a dropout!I liked them in Milwaukee and they were still good after the California move-but it might have been better if they had called it quits in 1982 after the High School reunion episode.

I think Laverne and Shirley was better, prefer the Milwaukee episodes. I still like Happy Days though, Incidentally, Fonzie went to night school to get his diploma and graduated on stage with Richie, Potsie and Ralph.

Cool

I like both shows alot and they are similiar to each other in some ways. The one I like better is Laverne & Shirley because it's like Lucy & Ethel only younger. I find Laverne & Shirley a tad bit funnier than Happy Days because of the physical comedy.

I love L&S so much better. I always found happy days alittle boring.

L&S is one of my favorite old shows.

I never laughed out loud at "Happy Days", but I did at "Laverne & Shirley". I think L&S has aged a little better, too -- "Happy Days" seems awfully preachy to me these days.
