Default Hate Thy Neighbor

about the episode "Hate Thy Neighbor"- Mama mentions that the gebharts lived next door for a long time. didnt someone else live next door? Because in the April Fools Episode, she went next door to get a Wheelbarrow and she didnt say she went next door to the Gebharts. She said "i went next door to the Wittikers" could they live next door to the Gebharts?

And in the episode "Gift Horse" Mama goes on the porch and starts watching her miniseries through the Wittikers' window. I watched that episode last night in my DVD collection that I made last year. I haven't watched the show in such a long time. It's good to be back.

In the NBC years didnt the Boylans live next door, I think I remember Buzz saying something about fighting or beating up Tommy Boylin next door? I could be wrong.

The Boylands lived across the street. I think it was mentioned that Naomi lived in back of Mama, not next door.

The blooper here is that the Gephardts and Whittakers changed positions with their houses. Both lived next door, but in the episode where Mama is out on the porch and watches her show thru the window, the Whittakers lived to the RIGHT. In the April Fools episode, they lived to the LEFT of Mama's house.

Naomi Lived next door not behind because Naomi used to bitch at Mama for having her tree drip sap all over her car and all over her drive way. So if Naomi lived behind Mama then their drive ways would not have touched each other.

Right. In another thread we discussed the driveway thing. Have you noticed that in the opening credits that there is no driveway? And in a lot of episodes the cars were parked on the street. Someone theorized that the driveway may have run through the back of the house from another street. If you notice the driveway does run along the back just outside of the kitchen window. So a back entrance is entirely possible!

Yes a lot of places around my house has an old street that was one time used as an entrance for garbage trucks and to driveways, this was popular in the mid south and southern states.

But this doesnt explain all the neighbors switching houses or even the fact that in the last episode Vint went down the driveway towards the front of the house, hmmm lots of stange people in Ray Town.
