Default PioneerDVD Wonderful Response

Ok,
as you know I posted a message asking about this person and I got responses saying negative. I believe I also explained to the board that they wanted 45 discs from me but were only going to return about 25 b/c they were insisting hour for hour and as dvd traders know, hours do not really matter, the real work is in number of discs. That all being aside, I sent a firm but polite email after finding out about the problems, basically stating I am a veteran tape trader and when there is a lot of "negative publicity" surrounding a trader, I tend to not get involved in a trade. I have way too many trades going on to deal with the bs.

SO, getting to the point, this is an email I receive to my firm but polite "thanks but no thanks", I have edited it where words were inappropriate for a public forum:

"Nobody has ever said a bad word about me except some B**** named mel after I forgot to send her 9 discs of a 30+ trade. My computer has been down for 11 days after my landlord rewired my computer room and never told me he switched the power from 110 to 220 and when I plugged it in and tried starting it it fried my computer and both printers. If you want to verify this call 1-***-***-**** ***** * computing. Guys name is **** who fixed my computer. I am so tired of that idiot runnng her mouth over me as a bad trader because of that. I had no control over it and it costs me $600 not counting the printers that I can't even afford to get replaced right now and I am PISSED... So S*** all you a***oles who run their mouths... I don't need any of you people!!"

Now, obviously, this is a sad situation and could be perfectly true, but I don't think this is an appropriate response or someone who I now feel like trading with!

Life is too short for this kind of bs.

Trade on!

If you read the other thread you will see that I am not the only person having trouble with Pioneerdvd. Cartoondvds is also having trouble. He has posted a response as well about having trouble with her. She did not forget to send 9 DVDs; they were defective and she had time to respond to my and cartoondvds emails before what she explains so called happend. So Karri can say what she likes about me as fas as I am concerned.

I have done plenty of trades and have not had any problems or complaints on my end. If you should decide to complete a trade with her I hope your trade works out great for you!

By the way, Mel, dropped you an email about Sanford Arms, it's ready!

Karri contacted me and advised me of her problems. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to stuff like this as, much like Sharon Smith things can take much longer that expected. As I recall I did state that our first 15 dvd transaction was perfect however I am still waiting for the 60 dvd trade to happen.I have had my computer completely crap out and not been able to complete transations until a week later but I always keep my trade files in the hotmail account so I can read them from other computers as well. Karri has advised me that she will come through on our second trade.

I will Post either way what happens

Cheers

Good luck to you, like I said, could be very believable, but with all of the trades I am in the midst of, another 45 dvd trade that I didn't really want to do anyway just didn't seem worth it with all of the other stuff being posted.

Just my opinion,

I certainly agree I would not be starting a trade knowing this feedback but having had one good trade with her; I have to hope the second one will be completed.

I am just stating that in my case the trade was already done from my end, she gave an explanation to why I have not got the second set and I will give the benefit of the doubt to see if she comes through.

In all honesty I can not say one way or another whether this will get done but I do not want to list her as a "Bad Trader" if she really just ran into some bad luck.

Please do not take this as an endorsement as by no means would I start a new trade without getting my items. If someone asked me if they should trade with her I would definately say I can't give an endorsement right now. But from my part it is too soon to be labeling someone a bad trader

Cheers

Default New to this site people!! Just here to defend comments only

I don't use this site at all but I feel I need to defend myself after a petty trader labeled me as a scammer for sending her a Gomer set that didn't play. The trade was for 30+ discs and these 9 gomers didn't work. I stated I would replace them a couple weeks ago as I sent these bad discs to traders in 3 trades and I wasn't aware they didn't work. My computer has been down for 11 days after landlord rewired my computer room because of power surge problems and it was upped in power from 110 to 220 without me being told about it I plugged into it and turned everything on and it fried both printers my epson photo 825 and lexmark aal in one as well as my computer. Costed me almost $600 . I get back online tonight to get ahold of people and I get an e-mail come in where I am slammed and stated as a scammer over these 9 discs by one person. Mel. I get an e-mail from her stating several people are having problems with me and only actually see one person (her) Everyone else has been understanding except a guy tom dubel who has never even done a trade with me. Except for seeing my nasty responce to mel he has never had a problem with me ever. In fact we were going to do a trade a few months ago that never got done because he was not finished with the set he was making. Other then that I have dealt with lots of traders and never a bad word left tile this lady..... The trade was 35 dvds 9 didn't work...If I was a scammer would I have sent the 35 dvds to her? I sent 1st to everone? In fact she had them in hand before she even had mine done!!!! Come on now people...This is a no brainer here....

Default people are petty sometimes....

Tdubel...Not sure why you even got yourself involved . Seems like a real petty issue here that doesn't even involve you. Its been about 3 months since you first e-mailed me a about a trade and I have been waiting ever since without a problem. I'll tell ya what . If I sent you the 16 dvd set of gunsmoke that Mel sent me I guarentee you 100% you would be on here rippin her a new one. As much as you talked to me about liking quality stuff and all.... Not sure why you felt the need to get involved in something so dumb here. Guess you felt I was a really bad person for sending a set that didn't work..Oh also it was 35 dvds I sent. All worked except for one set ...which I had offered to replace . I don't get ya at all... Mel now I get her...she just figures people are out to scam her and shes just waiting to have the chance to catch people...wrong or right... like some internet cop or something. Hell people I have had a bad trade lately with a Jared & twoonia who live 6 hours away from me . I sent them : 29 discs been 2 months and still waiting... Ya see me bad mouthing them them in a public post like this? I don't wana kill my chances of actually getting the stuff...

This girl never responded saying she would replace anything. The only response I received was that she was aware of the defective discs and that was on a Yahoo Trading Group after posting why she would not respond to my emails about it.

It may very well be true about her computer problems but what else is someone supposed to think after weeks of no response or discs replaced. If she replaces the discs then I will respond to this posting and take my posting off the Bad Traders list. Even though I already have Gomer coming in another trade from nannyfan since I thought i was not going to get them replaced.

Pioneerdvd,

I think you have misunderstood my position here. I believe I contacted you in reply to your want list. We discussed a trade and I wasn't too happy from the get go about the fact I was sending 45 dvds to your 25, but no biggie, I have traded for so long and you really wanted the show so I agreed. I indicated from the beginning that I had a ton of trades working, I would work this one in, BUT it would take some time to do b/c of its volume. I subsequently posted a trader check and got some negative feedback in your case. SO, I rethought our trade and decided to pass which I emailed you to that effect. I don't think I have gotten involved in your dispute with mel, I have stated my own reasons for not completing the trade. TO recap yet again, I have been doing this for many years, have met some great traders here that do not have any issues whatsoever deserved or not deserved. I am honest in all of my trades and they go pretty easy. Therefore, I tend not to fool with any trades that have issues, just not worth it. I think that is pretty much where i am coming from.

Default back again

I am an E-Bay powerseller with 181-0-0 in the last 30 days alone... Does that sound like someone who is scamming people? Besides I sent her the discs. She said they didn't work. I knew this after I sent 3 sets out but didn't get a chance to recopy anything for the 3 people. I could care less if you don't want to follow through with the trade but using this as a reason because not 1 other person has ever had a problem with my trades . No one has added a bad word onto here or her group posting. Its only her making a big deal out of this. She pisses me off because I lost a whole week and a halfs income on e-bay and didn't get anything bad listed on there but I do on 9 discs that were defective and I am a crook ? Thats just plain wrong! For this reason you ended a trade I have been waiting for you to finish for over 2 months... I didn't see any problem and you were really easy to deal with and didn't have a problem til she posted that. Hell we chatted back and forth more then anyone one here I was trading with. I figured you would have had alittle more loyalty to me and came to me if there was a problem instead of posting things that made me look bad like I was trying to screw you on the dvd count thing... I mean come on . Every trade I have I always get stuck sending peoples stuff first to them ...and I get labeled a bad trader .

I have not paniced over anything. Yes I have asked people if they were finished who were transferring from VHS to DVD on about 30 discs worth which I just received. Another was a scammer that I came to find out that was Twoonia Haynes which her husband Jarod Haynes has scammed a lot of people on here. On both of these occastions were reasonable. I have never rushed anyone and have only inquired about discs when they say they would be finished.

I have dropped the whole situation and said if I received the replacement discs I would correct the listing of you being a bad trader. I already have another set of Gomer Pyle coming in another trade with nannyfan. So I really do not need this set but I might as well wait and see if you send the replacements. I said it could have really happened about your computer getting fried.

Another member on Yahoo DVD-R trader Group brought up a good point. You cannot plug in a male receptical (110v) into a 220v outlet unless you force it because it will not fit. Didn't you think something was different and wrong when you tried to plug in your computer after your landlord rewired your computer room?

Just let things be. You are just trying to make me look bad to everyone because you were in the wrong for not responding to any emails before your computer got fried. You had almost a week to respond before you say this happened. This is the most trouble I have ever had with a trade. Any experienced trader would think they were not going to be replaced.

I had two trades that I had to hold up and could not finish with nannyfan and the other with Collinwood2003 because this set was defective. So they waited patiently and because it to so long they had to pick something else out of mine. I have learned my lesson the hard way to never trade something that I yet have tried to play or burn.

9 discs is just not worth all of this BS. So just drop it and send the replacements.

Mel
