Thumbs up San Antonio Spurs--2005 NBA Champions

Congratulations on the San Antonio Spurs for winning the 2005 NBA Championship. They showed Detroit in the 4th quarter who's the boss. And Tim Duncan definitely deserved the MVP award. The Spurs have class and they have the fans like me that know it.

Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs. You had a great season, and it's nice to see Tim Duncan getting the MVP.

I may have been disappointed with the outcome but I still should congratulate the Spurs, they gave us a good fight and pulled through in the end.

Congratulations to the Spurs on winning their second title in three years. It's cool to see such a classy team do so well. Just shows that nice guys don't always finish last. Congrats to the Pistons as well, for giving the Spurs all that they could handle, and for making this the toughest title the Spurs ever had to earn. The Pistons definitely shouldn't be hanging their heads tonight!!

I'm not really an NBA fan but I want to congratulate the Spurs since they reside from the same state as my Cowboys and have Tim Duncan one of the greatest players around.

I second what Little Mel just said, the Pistons were tough and the Spurs worked extra hard to win the series. I love them Spurs... and GO SPURS GO

Congrats, Spurs on a very low scoring finals. I won 10 bucks on this series, though.

He deserves it because it was him that used his height to purposely get fouled. That was one of the reasons the Pistons lost

The other reasons were because the refs let the SPurs get away with a couple fouls. Two were when Duncan knocked into Ben Wallace and also smacking Antonio McDyess with the ball

Also while the SPurs were doing great defense by staying on them when they were on the 3 point line, the Pistons left them wide open allowing them to score the points.BTW did anyone else know that the Pistons came out to The Undertaker's entrance music?

What a great game last night. Im so happy.
And they showed so much class.
That's why they deserve it.
If Detroit would have won they would have been
putting it in our faces hard if we lost.
The better team won but...
Ginobili should have been the MVP!

Umm, I'm going to disagree. Detroit would not have been rubbing it into your faces if they won. Say what you want but the Pistons are a very classy team and yes, while I wish they would have won, I can accept defeat and say congratulations to the Spurs.

Lady Jess is right... I stayed up all night watching the Spurs highlights on television, celebrating and enjoying the Spurs win... I think it was at 6:00 in the morning and I was watching KSAT 12 news in San Antonio... The News Reporters were talking to some other News Reporters in Detorit.. I think it was WDIV channel 8, I'm not sure and the San Antonio News Reporters were asking how the Detroit News Reporters how were the Pistons fans reacting to last night loss, and the Detroit News Reporter said that they accept the fact they lost to the Spurs. The Detroit Fans knew there team fought hard, and if it was any other team The Pacers, Lakers or Heat they would have a hard time accepting but since it was the Spurs... a class organization like Detroit.. they accepted the lost. Both teams fought hard... but the Spurs are champions and I can't wait for the parade tommorrow... but Lady Jess you are right...

I'm not happy the Spurs won because i'm a Pistons fan but the Pistons played with a lot of heart. Rasheed Wallace needs to retire because i'm tired of him not shooting the ball enough. Detroit's offense isn't good & he should know that in order for them to win, he needs to shoot more because they rely on Chauncey & Richard too much for offense. Their bench is very weak. They need to upgrade their bench next season & get rid of Darvin Ham, Ronald Dupree, Darko Milicic, Elden Campbell.
