I am sure this has come up before on this board, but I just joined tonight to get this one question answered:
Has The Greatest American Hero theme song (Believe it or not I'm walkin' on air) been used on another 80's sitcom. Growing pains maybe in it's syndicated years?
Please someone help . . . I have a $50 bet on this!

As far as I know, it was never used on another television show - but don't quote me on that. I wish I could help you out, and I wish you luck.

No. The growing pains theme has some vocals & music to it that makes it seem similar to American Hero, but no, not the same song. Sorry!!!!!

i dont think it was on another show, but it was a song they played on the radio awile

Of course, on Seinfeld, George uses it on his answering machine:

"Believe it or not, George isn't at home.
Please leave a message at the beep.

I must be out, or I'd pick up the phone.
