Default The Leviathans

I have not made my way up to The Leviathans storyline yet, but I'm close. I heard this is the plot that helped kill the series. Are the Leviathans people, monsters, ghosts, or what? I read that the stories tried to mix goth and sci-fi together and the show never recover from the blow.

i can't answer your question, but i can add to the question with my reply. i feel the leviathans were used to illustrate a lot of the government conspiracy lore that is out there now. so much of it is mixed with occultism. the leviathan story had a lot of that stuff mixed in.

The Leviathans were creatures who lived on Earth before man. In the plot line on the show, they wanted to take over Earth. Although they're not human, they can assume a human shape.

I think the storyline was pretty good up until midway through it. It really seemed like they were rewriting the storyline everyday. It got confusing and annoying.

The Leviathans didn't seem like a very good choice for a DS plot.

I am watching DVD collection 19 right now which has the ending to this storyline and I think it's exciting. This story has a lot of horror in it. Murders, zombies, creatures, ghosts, a werewolf, a witch and vampires. I don't understand how anyone got bored with it. One of the best things about this story was that it didn't take long in telling it. They were able to get so much into this story in only 90 episodes I believe is how long the story is and it made sense, well to me it did anyways. This will always be my favorite storyline from the show.

I'm waiting to get DVD set 17. When does the story exactly start?
