Have you ever seen in some episodes in Milwaukee, where somone will come to Laverne/Shirley's apartment and knock on the door and the girls hold baseball bats and go "Who is it?" Does anyone know why they do that its like their afraid of who might be at the door, and are trying to keep safe.

That's why I think they do that. They'd rather be safe than sorry I guess.

Although what masher is going to politely knock on the door.

yup, thats why. But for some reason lenny and squiggy can still get in. I guess thats why carmine has his special knock, so he wont get hit with a bat.

Yeah, Titania! That's it! PLUS! Laverne and Shirley never lock their door when they are home! Shirley goes to the door, locks it and says, "Who is it?" :
