On August 23rd pick up (edited) ALF S2. I was buying it anyway, but this is an added inspiration.... one of the episodes is a dream ALF has about Gilligan's Island
and it features everyone in the cast of Gilligan's Island except for those who had left us by 1987. (Alan, Jim, and Natalie) Unsurprisingly, Tina isn't in it either (who was and is still with us, 70 at the moment actually )pat |

....all 7 of the castaways were still alive.
Jim Backus died in 1989 Alan Hale died in 1990 Natalie Schafer died in 1991 Tina Louise wasn't in the episode because she stays away from anything Gilligan-connected. I heard somewhere that she has softened that stance in her old age and has some appreciation for GI. I hope so. |

I was lucky enough to have recorded this show when it was shown here quite a while ago. It's one of my favourite Alf episodes. I think it was broadcast cut but I'm not certain. Gilligan, the Skipper too, the Professor and Mary Ann all appear.
