1989-1991 opening
Why did the Cosby Show use the same opening when it came back for the seventh season in the Fall 1990???
I heard that was controversy over a new theme, so they just reverted back to the previous season??? Does anyone have the story??? |

well
Apparently, the theme was supposed to be used, but Bill Cosby got into a nasty suit involving the painters of the mural and until the lawsuit cleared, he reverted to the 1989-1990 theme opening. Don't take my word for it, That's just my opinion.

the 1991-1992 opening is actually the original 1990-1991 opening, minus Bonet and Joseph C. Phillips
