Default Large Ratings

Does anyone else get irritated by the large ratings (i.e. TV G)that appear at the beginning of the show and after the end of each commercial break?

I'm not sure why it bothers me so much, but it's kind of annoying having some big rating in the corner sometimes over a person's face. It doesn't bother me at the beginning of a program, but after each break gets rather annoying.

I've noticed several channels have made them bigger recently(Nick-at-Nite, Oxygen, and Lifetime) most noticeably. I don't like it either.

I noticed that they had gotten bigger too. It's not necessary to cover up to people faces with the ratings.

Why can't they just do what HBO does? Before every movie/series/special, they have a screen with the rating and why it is rated that way.

It takes up air-time, which could be better used for the Gieco commercial you've already seen 10,000 times.

Its annoying. A lot of them do it not only at the beginning of a show but when it comes back from a commerical break.

Don't remind me. I was watching Family Matters back around May 31st...(I think that's when it changed, I noticed it all that day on all the channels) and this big huge BOX that a blind person could see comes up.

I think the reason why they showthe ratings after every commercial beacuse a ten year old may be watching show liked sex in the City in the Middle of it showing that why they put it there so a Ten Year old can't watch but make it small this time and i don't liked it when they show everytime when comes on only in the begninng
