Hi TJ. Laverne & Shirley is my all-time favorite show and my favorite episode is when Laverne & Shirley almost marry two British rock stars. They were played by Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits and Eric Idle (I think Eric Idle, maybe it was someone else). Other favorite episodes include the Fabian episode, the episode when Lenny and Squiggy run away to join the circus
and well, all of them actually. Although most of the California episodes can't compare to the Milwaukee shows. I still quote several lines from this show all of the time and my family is so tired of it. But after twentysomething years this show is still just as funny to me as it always was.

Hey everyone!!! Since L&S is my ALL TIME fave show, its hard for me to pick ONE fave episode. But there are lots of eps that I love lots: L&S Meet Fabian, Drive She Said, Supermarket Sweep, Murder on Moosejaw Express, Cruise, Playing the Rosy, The Dentist, The Robbery, To Tell The Truth, Once Apon a Rumor, Citizen Krane, Haunted House, Shirley's Operation, Lenny's Crush, etc etc etc!!! As you can see, I cant pick just one. However, I will agree on the comment that the Milwaukee episodes are much better (for the most part) than the CA ones. Have a great day everyone

I enjoyed any episode where Shirly tried to be seductive... the dropped shoulders, the loose jaw... the little shake in her walk... so cute! But I think my favorite episode was the first one, with the guest appearance by Fonzie and the stolen dresses. Whenever I'm feeling down, all I have to do is think of that Rubber-tree Plant song and I get right back up!

Yeah, I am not sure I can narrow it down either.

My two favorite scenes were the ep that had the horse in the girl's bedroom and they were trying to feed it vitamins. The first one knocked Fabian's picture off the wall, the second one hit Laverne in the forhead and Laverne swallowed the third pill.

OMG! I am laughing as I write this!

I also loved when they tried teching Squiggy how to drive in the living room and Laverne and Squiggy ran over BooBoo Kitty.

Oh...I cannot foget when they were candy stripers and they were trying to change the sheets under that fat guy...

I could go on and on...

Definitely One Flew Over Milwaukee!

"I sent her out for Oregano, she comes back with a canary. If I'd sent her out for paprika, she'd come back with a duck"-Laverne

"Look in this box. Tell me what you see. Do ya wanna know what I see? I see nature in song, I see beauty in flight!"-Shirley
"I see bird stuff on newspaper!"-Laverne

I also LOVE Testing Testing

"Are you paranoid?"-Psychiatrist
"I'm German"-Squiggy
"Tell me Andrew, how do you like being a truck driver?"-Psychiatrist
"It's better than what I done before"-Squiggy
"What was that?"-Psychiatrist
"I was a child"-Squiggy
"What kind of child were you?"-Psychiatrist
"White"-Squiggy

"Lenny, I wish I could give you the gift of confidence"-Psychiatrist
"Are you the wizard of Oz?"-Lenny

"Why did they want us to draw a house?"
-Squiggy
"Oh, I copied your house"-Lenny
"I think because a house shows personality"
-Shirley
"Oh, well, I fooled them. I drew a slum!"
-Squiggy
"Uh-oh"-Lenny

Then of course, there was Candy is Dandy!

"This department is in shambles!"-Mr. Hildebrande
"Is that near Chad? We wanted to Chad!"
-Laverne

"Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than the locomotive, able tall buildings in a single bound! Look, up in the air! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's HILDEBRANDE!"-Laverne
"Mr. HILDEBRANDE! How we love to announce you!"-Shirley

I like To Tell the Truth, Mother Knows Worst, the Fabian one, the society party, the bachelor party, the one with the German guy
"You can't send the man out into the world with nothing but a bag of saur kraut"-Shirley
"Don't I know it!"-Squiggy

and SOOO many more! I love all of them for different reasons. Why Did the Fireman because it was sweet, along with Lenny's Crush and Look Before you Leap. Drive She Said because it's sooooo funny

"Ya see the peaches? The peaches are your gas. Now ya punch down on the peaches when you want more gas"-Shirley
"Shouldn't we use the beans for gas?"-Laverne

I have sooo many more, but my fingers hurt from typing so much!

------------------
"Well, Laverne is sort of childish"

"Childish? Childish? COming from a grown woman who throws tea parties for her stuffed cat!"

"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!"

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!"

My fav. episode is Murder on the Moosejaw! And the one where that spy want the recipe for the secret beer! LOL!!! Did you see that episode of the Jeffersons where they were on the ship and the Edgar guy got murdered? It was on NAN last night at 1:30 am. The Prof. guest starred! It was funny.

------------------
Gilligan: "They put us in these glass booths!"
Skipper: "Little buddy!"
Mr. Howell: "I'm a millionaire!"
Mrs. Howell: "I think I want the Professor."
Ginger: "I wanna be loved by you."
Professor: "The atomic weight..."
Mary Ann: "My coconut cream pie!"

Murder On The MooseJaw Express. A classic 2-parter episode.
