We know Lily had the Koach made for Herman birthday in "Rock-A-Bye Munster" from these cars on Diamond Jim's lot
![]() but she drove up in this car with an unknown invisible driver. He opens his door, you hear his footsteps, and also opens Lily's door. He was never seen (of course) and apparently lost his chauffeurs job because he was never "seen" again, poor guy!

Could it of been the "Invisible Man"? The Munsters was good at paying homage to the horror characters of the 1930s and 40s. Were any left out? Hmm, let me think....

Well, let's see, we got...
Frankenstein (Herman) Dracula (Lily, Grandpa) The Wolf Man (Eddie, Lester) The Pretty Blonde (Marilyn) A couple of unordinary creatures (Spot, Raven, Igor, Black cat, etc.) The Creature from the Black Lagoon (Uncle Gilbert) A Warlock (Henry J. Fregosi) The Invisible Man (Lily's chauffeur) An alien (Ep. 16, If A Martian Answers, Hang Up) Weird House ... and maybe a few other things I forgot. |

Cousin Phantom of the Opera in The Munsters' Revenge.
Herman sort of became Mr. Hyde in "Zombo". |

Ep. 63, Prehistoric Munster, Grandpa is sitting in his electric chair and playing checkers with the invisible man.
I can't wait for the DVD, my tapes are becoming a silvery-green color. It's kinds like watching The Munsters Today. |

For all we know, he/she, (could be one of Grandpa's wives,) lived with the family. We just never saw him/her.
About the car: I went on a search for lillysmansion a while back to find out what that car was. A mechanic friend of mine said he had it on great authority that the car is a 1937 Cadillac 5 passenger touring sedan. Thanks for the shots, A.P.! My best, Dirt MunsterKoach.com |

It's a shame that car only got two appearances, Rock-A-Bye Munster, and The Midnight Ride of Herman Munster.

...and a couple of times with the end credits.
Maybe it was Diamond Jim himself. |

End credits? The only cars in any end credits were the Koach and Drag-U-La in Season 2.
