It's probably subjective but I'd say no - I'd hope it wasn't going off the air anyhow - I mean yeah it is in a bad timeslot but with the bulk of this message board and other "true crime" fans still tuning into watch it probably still brings in some ratings. For a longtime "UM" was Lifetime's flagship show before they started making their own series and airing endless made for tv movies.
That being said a few years back Lifetime put in a good amount of time, effort and money re-editing the episodes - They probably wouldn't want to lose on that investment anytime soon. The members of this forum have consistantly written to Lifetime praising them for keeping the show on the air etc and occasionaly Lifetime does update a case or two even with Mr. Stack's passing. We also wrote to them in the past few months requesting that they air the "older episodes" as oppose to the "special edits" that they did a few years back. They have since only aired older episodes so somebody apparently IS listening. Also one last thing to consider UM performs a public service - as long as it airs the unsolved mysteries can still be SOLVED by simply a viewer tuning in and providing the necessary information to the authorities. While this might not matter to "Joe Money" at the networks it is different than saying taking "The Golden Girls" off the air which would just be a basic sitcom pulled from the schedule. |

It's on the schedule through the first week in July... 2 episodes per weekday except for July 1 and 4 when it's only on at 12pm(due to the holiday)

Unsolved Mysteries IMO will never leave Lifetime, they invested way too much money into the show to let it go now. I really don't care about the timeslot just as long as it's still on, old or new episodes.
