Default Anyone meet Kevin at his show?

I'm going to his show tomorrow and I'm really getting my hopes up to meet him. He was signing lots of autographs on Making The Cut last night so maybe he does that...

Has anyone met him at a show? If so, any tips? I'm getting there a little early but I don't know if he'd meet any fans before or after.

I've never met Kevin, but my advice to you is to find the stage door. I'd try after the show instead of before, because you never know how early he'll get there. Find the stage door, and then wait by it after the show. That would be your best bet. I know many people have been successful in meeting celebs this way. I know when Seinfeld does shows, he always signs for fans at the stage door afterwards. If there's not too many people waiting there, you might get lucky. Good luck and let us know how it went!

Hunt,
Absolutely the right advice!I had the opportunity to meet
a singer I'd been waiting 30 years to meet last month in Detroit
by doing exactly that.

It was Gino Vannelli.Had a couple of hits many years ago and is still an incredible performer!!Now if we could just get Leah to do stand-up .
If she had the right material I think she would be fantastic!

That's very cool. I agree that it would be awesome if Leah did stand-up! Maybe someday...

Also...don't be worried if he doesn't come out right away. Sometimes it takes about 20 minutes or so for them to come out the stage door. I waited a good 20 minutes for Vicki Lawrence to leave the building when I met her.

I wish I would have thought about going to the stage door, other comedy shows I have been to have been small around 200 (Bill Engvall was the best one i saw in a small venue) or so, so they could come out afterwards and sign. But I knew it would be impossible for him to come out afterwards it was a sold out show.....always next summer.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, even though I waited about twenty minutes, I wasn't able to meet him. There were no signs of him and becasue the center was pretty large, I figure that I missed him maybe coming from a lower level garage.

I just came back from seeing him...omg he was so funny, i am still laughing!! lol. unfortunatley i didn't get to meet him either though, the stage was surrounded by fencing...so i couldn't even see a stage door let along get near it. But it really was a great experience, he is a funny guy.

Favorite line of the night:
::Sparatic rumbling in the background:: Kevin: What the f*** was that? (looks around) Was that thunder?? Audience replies: fireworks. Kevin: Ok, well you guys can shoot rockets off if you want, right on stage, thats fine.

::A moth flies near the stage:: Kevin: Did you see that...what was that. You guys are have like flying terradactyls here in New Hampshire. The thing had like 6 wings...

There was so many other goods one though!
