Book About Sanford And Son In Season 6 DVD - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was wondering if anyone who bought their Sanford and Son Season 6 DVD from Target or from Amazon noticed that there is a book about Sanford and Son inside the box. It is called "Sanford And Son:Six Seasons Of Laughter:1972-1977. It tells how Sanford and Son got started,plus small biographies about Redd Foxx,Demond Wilson,Whitman Mayo,and LaWanda Page,and also gives everything from the cast member to the selected guest stars plus all of the awards nominations it received.

It is a great book and a must for everyone who are Sanford and Son fans.

I will get that season before the summer ends but in no big rush because it was not that better than season 1

I mentioned in another thread that it was a nice booklet and that Sony should do the same thing with What's Happening since that's the final season coming out in August. They should do a similar booklet for Good Times and Soap too.

I recieved mine from amazon and I didn't receive that book. That is the first thing I looked for.

Maybe Sanford Arms and Grady have a chance on being released on DVD but not Sanford Because it wasn't a Sanford and Son Spinoff

i looked for it at target and walmart. I will continue to look i need that last season and i look forward to the book u are talking aobut.

Yes, i finally got season 6!! i loved that book you were talking about it is a true keepsake and treasure for us fans. My favorite season 6 episode is fred sings the blues!!!!

yu will luv it! it gives alot of detailed info about the most popular characters. It also gives u the names of the special guest stars and more. How John Sanford got started in the business and why he picked the name redd foxx etc. I wish he was alive, I luv fred and he and i would have gotten along great. My husband has to remind me all the time that he is just a character and redd foxx is totally different person. lol

i got the dvd and booklet! its a collectors item for sure. In the booklet, it says that Lamont was in the Vietnam War, and was discharged. something i didnt know about.
