Default Crystal Spencer & Dennis Depue

It was nice seeing these 2 segments today. I had not seen the Crystal Spencer case in a good 10 years or so. The neighbors that heard her (deathly) screams in the middle of the night and not calling the police still gets to me. If you heard horric screaming in the middle of the night coming from your neighbors, wouldn't you call the police? It's still rather confusing that nobody could pin-point the exact cause of death, though. How odd.

As far as the Dennis Depue segment, I know it was solved a long time ago but it still hits kinds of close to home since it happened about 40 miles from where I live. I'll never forget reading in the newspapers the next day - "Man commits suicide after seeing himself on Unsolved Mysteries." Once in a while, I drive past Coldwater on my way to visit relatives and every time I see the sign, I can't help but think of this case and about the lonely country road and school yard where Dennis buried that bloody blanket. That one picture they kept showing of Dennis with his wife Marylin - man, did he look like a psycho or what?

I live in Sterling Heights myself. I loved both segments myself. I haven't seen Depue in so long.

In response to Crystal Spencer those two have to be the biggest morons. I hope they still feel guilty about what they did.

I agree, if there ever was a poster child for psycho he would've been it. It was nice to see these older episodes, I just hope they continue to show the older ones we havent seen in awhile.

I live in Michigan too. I remember the Depue case when it originally aired and the story being on the local news.

That was the 1st time seeing both stories for me... I had seen the update on the Dupue case before, but never the rest of the story.

I was eager to see the Depue case because seeing Jeepers Creepers and now that segment, I can see the similarities and how much they ripped off that case. Everything was the same except for a couple odd things but it was nice to finally see it.

I've seen the Crystal Spencer case twice in the past but yes I agree those neighbors are they moronic or what? If you hear sounds of someone being tortured wouldn't you call the police... Hello!!!!

THAT was VERY bizarre to me. I couldn't believe that when I heard it. It made them look like suspects IMO.

Going back to Dennis Depue, that segment right there save for the update is the reason why the older episodes are better. It had everything!

The Depue segment was so suspenseful. The people who were out on a drive actually going back to the school when Depue could have followed them was really brave and made for a great segment. He sure did look evil in that picture.

Word. I'm pretty sure I would have peed in my pants when I saw the bloody sheets.

About Crystal Spencer...this case has always really bothered me. I don't see how her neighbors can live with themselves. I've had to call 911 before. It's pretty easy to do. Jerks.
