Talking I finally got it!!

I finally got the holy bible of all things Three's Company-- "Come and Knock on Our Door" by Chris Mann!! Yay!

Ok, let's make this thread as the "unknown facts we discovered in this book" thread

1.) John Ritter had a huge crush on Mary Tyler Moore when he was a teen...he even dated a girl because she had Moore's signature flip hairdo!

2.) The actress who played the nude model in "Jack Looks for a Job" had a huge crush on John Ritter during the time she did the episode! And does anyone remember what it said about her actually being nude? I think she was, but the audience could not see it(only John could). Slap me if I'm wrong.

3.) Loni Anderson auditioned for the part of Chrissy Snow-- but they felt she was TOO beautiful to be struggling to live in an apartment with two other roomies

4.) John Ritter and Joyce Dewitt made it a personal goal to make all the new guest stars feel at home and welcomed on their set-- almost all the guest stars that have gone on to the show have said they were always friendly and everyone treated them like family.

Ok, that's all I remember for now More later when I progress through the book.

OMG!!! You're so funny!! I found out sooo much too! Like SS last episode with John and Joyce. And John's last words to Suzanne! I almost cried! It was hard reading about that side of John. I read the book in 7 days and I forgot so much stuff, that I'm now reading it again! I was shocked to hear that John sprained his ankle!! Poor guy! It's one of the best books I've EVER read!!

More facts:

* Both John and Joyce were uncomfortable posing for pictures and doing the whole "celebrity thing"....John also mentions he thought it was weird when people referred to him as the "cuddly stud"....He says: "I never really thought I was a sex symbol but I'm flattered when people tell me that."

* Norman Fell admits that he felt "married" to Audra Lindley off camera too...they were quite close and loved working together. But, shhh, nothing went on, you pervs

* Audra Lindley wore platform shoes so that she could appear taller than Mr. Roper.

* Joyce felt her character was too stern in the earlier seasons and she asked the producers to allow her to "soften" up Janet and make her more likeable. They didn't listen to her and only gave in when John himself asked them to.

*Norman Fells claims that many homosexual people approached him and praised his work on the show.

Yeah, I guess they feel beautiful people can't struggle? Well, there goes that theory-- Suzanne, Jenilee, Priscilla, and Joyce were all beautiful in their own ways

I agree...the Ropers had excellent chemistry together! I'm glad they stuck with them for as long as they did.

I personally think John Ritter is quite sexy but a lot of it has to do with his personality and quirkiness-- THAT makes him sexy to me. Plus, being very cute and adorable doesn't hurt things
