Try and guess what is Herman's age.

A. 149
B. 150
C. 151
D. 152

Answer is...

All of them. Throughout the course of two seasons, Herman has been four different ages. From eps 1-4 he was 149, from 4 and up, I've heard his age to be, 150, 151, and even 152.

There's also other age problems.

In Herman's Rival, Lily said she was 137, but in A Visit from the Teacher, Eddie says she is over 400.

In Hot Rod Herman, Grandpa's license plate says, "Born 1367-died ?" As of 1965, that would make Grandpa 598 years old, but according to Grandpa's Lost Wife, he says he is 378.

In Eddie's Nickname, Herman says Eddie is 10, later in Eddie's Brother, Lily says Eddie is 9. Somehow during the course of two years, Eddie has gone down in age.

Marilyn's age was never said until Munster, Go Home!, where Eddie said she was 19. Even though Beverley Owen and Pat Priest were well into their twenties, and Debbie Watson was 17 when offered the role.

I know. I noticed all kinna inconsistentcies.
Even the hair and make up varied.

I thought I remembered that they talk about HM's doctor fainting during his office appointment and then a few episodes later show the doctor fainting during the appointment. How'd they know in advance????

Rock-A-Bye Munster and Low-Cal Munster were switched. They should have never switched them, because now they look out of order.

Yeah, those are the two.

I just noticed also that the fuse box in the dungeon doubles as Grandpa's "magnesium wall oven" in a later episode.
Geez, it's got to be even LESS healthy cooking with Mg. than microwaves.

Grandpa does a lot of unhealthy things. He's overweight, he smokes cigars, he stays in his musty dark dungeon, he cooks with Magnesium. Yet, he's still a spry 378-year-old.

Another thing I noticed, is that throughout the series, Eddie has had three principals. I don't know their names, but they are in Tin Can Man, Bats of a Feather, and A Visit from the Teacher.

I never noticed about the different principals.
Maybe there was a high turn over of school staff at his school.

I know what the other thing was, in one of the early episodes they showed Spot's shadow and it looked like a pterodactyl's.
I think HM made a comment about Spot being afraid of his own shadow when they showed it.
Well, it looked like a pterodactyl to me, anyways.
