Default Username Changes

I think everyone should be able to change their username by themselves instead of TJ doing it. I don't feel compfortable bugging him every few months asking for a username change. He already seems busy enough.
How come we can't just change our usernames by ourselves?

If everybody could change the names by themselves nobody would know who anybody was. They'd be doing it all the time.

I like it like this because their is some stability.

Just curious, why do you feel the need to change your name every few months?

I assure you, there's a stack of reasons a mile high why the system is set the way it is, post #2 being at the top of the list.

Just remember, you don't necessarily have to bug TJ - I'm also fully authorized to perform screenname changes.

Some people like changes...

Anyway, the rule where you can change your username is better on small boards

I've only had to do that once really.....sometimes I just get tired of the same username after a while.

And you don't need to give that rude reaction, Brent.

I agree.

And if you can't tell who people are, that person should be smart enough to make a post just to say "Hey, I changed my user name from this to that!" People who care will give us the heads up, know what I mean?
