School Daze

First time poster here. As a kid in growing up in the seventies, Sanford and Son was my favorite prime time sitcom. Just reading this message board has brought back some great memories and nostalgia.

Anyway, last Friday night I watched "School Daze" on TVLand. I must admit the humour was pretty much non existent. I' m usually rolling on the floor laughing at Fred, but watching this episode, I chuckled maybe twice. The only thing I found unique about that epsisode was when Fred and Lamont told each other "I love you" in the final segment. Since that was the final episode of the series, does anyone think that was the producer's way of saying goodbye?

I think so too, JYD. I also wished they would have gave Sanford and Son a better finale. I think it would have ran a good 2 more years if Redd Foxx wouldn't have called it quits.

Welcome to the Boards, Hope you stick around. It might hav been a way of Saying Goodbuye since it was already being discussed in the press that Redd Foxx was not returning for another season.
