Default How many more years do you think this show deserved?

I actually think it deserved one more season.

What would have happened?

-D.J. was going off to College, and let's just assume she commuted to and from each day.

-Michelle would be in I guess 4th grade, and possibly be failing classes/ getting extra help as school gets harder. (I don't know what adult-like thing they would do for her, as she was growing up)

-Stephanie would be finishing 8th grade and getting ready to move onto high school with Gia. The two would try to get Gia's mom and Danny together.

-Danny would be dating Gia's mother.

-DJ would be dating Steve again.

-Jessie and Becky and the twins would just be there, as usual.

-Joey would still be doing comedy.

I think Danny getting married would have made a good final episode. I don't think DJ should have gotten married until after College, but I guess Steve could have given her a ring for the time being. I think the show would have went in that direction with Stephanie and Gia trying to get Danny to marry Gia's mother, because they were hinting at that when Danny met her, and they were like "If they get married...we could be sisters".

I wish it would have went to season 10. That way we would have seen Stephanie's first year of high school.

The final season the show was aging. It was not as enjoyable to watch especially when the storylines was all about Michelle. In my opinion they should had ended the show at season 7 with Vicki coming back and Danny end up marrying her. If the show had gone on for one more season it would had a tired look like other shows that wears their welcome out. Look at the ratings in the final season it was not in the top 10 not even the top 20. It was rated 25 compared to the previous season when it #16.

I think it was just enough years the way it was. 8 seasons was good. It ended with DJ graduating from high school. Or her senior year- they never showed her actual graduation.

Default How many more years do you think this show deserved?

i think it could have had about 3 to 4 more years. but only 1 to 2 really good years of the 3 or 4. they could have given more stories to steph and michelle,
also the twins too. it could have been good.

At least one more season to show what DJ's life is like in college, to answer the question "did she get back with Steve?", maybe give some closure to Joey and Jesse's dreams since neither of them seemed to find much success in comedy or music in the later years. I think they still had another good season of stories to tell.

Default Well...

The show was going kind of... downhill... I say two or three. I would have wanted to see Michelle (Sorry Im that's not the right spelling) go to middle school or you know, coming to age talk.
But yeah I don't know.

The show ran its course, but deserved a better series finale.

As much as I love Full House, I admit that I didn't watch it nearly as much once they moved it to Tuesday nights. I was so used to it being on Friday that I would always forget. But it definitely wasn't as good once the house became "Fuller" in my opinion. I never really cared for Jessie and Rebecca's kids, although they were cute. I think it ended at the right time because Michelle was a lot cuter when she was younger and as was mentioned above, it would have become more tiresome to watch.

When they made the finale they didn't know it would be the series finale. I was supposed be just the season finale.

I think it should of gone on until all the girls graduated. But if nothing else atleast until Stephanie did. There was still a lot more that could of been done with this show.I wish it would of stayed on friday.Just because it was like traidition.Full house TGIF.But i watched it on tuesday the same as i did friday. And i would of watched it where ever it went if i could find it.Would love to see them come back together now.

The WB I heard wanted to pick it up. It would have lost its audience for sure in season 9 if it had returned and if John Stamos agreed/disagreed to return. They most likely would have cut the opening, but at that point, opening credits were still in style. Maybe they would have re-arranged the theme or changed it completely with a new song? It would have been a different show.

But I agree. The show to me was the Michelle show. It got boring after so many seasons, especially when she was aging and the twins were old enough to walk/talk.

If they had switched the show to WB for season 9, most likely they would have ruined it. ABC was ruining it by making it all about Michelle and only her in the majority of episodes. To me, I think they should have focused more on DJ and Stephanie in the last season and less and less of Michelle episodes. Wasn't the Donkey episode part of season 8, and of course, the final 2 parter...ugh.

Yeah, we never did see what became of the family after that point. It just sorta ended in a way that we all knew it was "the final episode". I think they might have ended season 7 the same way, or did they already know they were coming back? With Michelle going "We all live here." Season 7 had a good closure episode. The whole family still stuck together in the same house.

But the final 2 parter was just a waste on all about Michelle. They ruined every good classic ABC show by doing these types of 2 parters that weren't proper sendoff. Roseanne was just strange, but Full House should have done something else than this for its finale. Empty House would be a much better series finale. Everyone moves out and Danny is all alone with just Stephanie and Michelle. DJ goes off to College, Jesse and Joey achieve their goals and finally move out. I think that would have been a better closure to the show. Okay, the 2 parter with Michelle was fine, sort of like they did with Rose on the Golden Girls during the last few shows, but then they should have done another 2 parter following that one, wrapping up any loose ends.

A good finale would have been DJ goes off to a dorm college and Steve proposes to her. Danny begins dating Gia's Mom. Something happens that gets both Joey and Jesse to reach their goals they had since the beginning of the series. Somewhere in there, the Gibblers sell their house now that all the kids are done high school. In the final moments of the series, just as Danny, Stephanie and Michelle are ready to send DJ off to college and pack the last of Jesse's familie's stuff, Jesse surprises the family by buying the Gibbler house and be neighbors with Danny, surprising him in the end, that the family will always be close by. That would have been a much better finale. Flashbacks, too. But less of all on Michelle.

I didn't mind the two parter with Michelle.I thought it was good. But it isn't how it should of ended.Like i said before,I think it should of gone on until all the girls graduated.

I don't know what would of happened,If it went to the wb.I know i still would of watched it and hopefully .It would of continued just where it left off.I think in the finale the family would all still be together.

Dj would be in college,Maybe Steph by then to i guess.Michelle would graduate high school.

Jesse and Joey would still be in bussiness together.Doing something.Plus having successful singing and comedian roles.

Danny and Becky would be doing wake up san francisco.Michelle would be baby sitting the twins and going to school.idk i loved it and i wish it was still going today. But the family should of stayed in that house.

I do agree with you. That the show shouldn't of just focused, On Michelle if that's what it was doing. But the way i remember it full house really let all of the charecthors be stars. To me they all we're equally.Except maybe uncle Jesse was a little bit bigger of a star. You're finale idea doesn't sound too bad though.I could of lived with that.
