Sitcom about Hartman - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ok, so I am new to this forum, but maybe someone can help me. I remember watching a sitcom in the 1990's about a some people in a magazine office. When the show came on, the name of the show was written in white on a blue background. I think the male lead's name was Hartman. Anytime I try to ask someone about this, they think I am confused about NewsRadio, but I promise I am not. I believe at the end of the show, the couple was trying to have a baby, but I am a little fuzzy on that detail. I think the show was on NBC, but it could have been on CBS, ABC, or FOX as those were the only channels we got at my house and we most commonly watched NBC or CBS. Could someone please help me? I would really appreciate it.
Also, I am looking for Evening Shade(s?) on DVD or VHS and I am not even sure if it is available. Help on either question would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you watched season 2 or 3 of Hearts Afire, with John Ritter & Markie Post.

I'm not sure if "Evening Shade" is on VHS or DVD, but you could try this site:

that just tells you if it's on DVD, but you could try contacting them and asking if it's on VHS.

Al I can say is a huge Thank You....I am going to do some more research adn try to find hearts afire around here to rent so that I can check and see if that was it. I found a summary of it online and that def sounds like it might have been that one. Also, thanks for the info on Evening Shade! You guys are awesome!

Season 1 of Hearts Afire hits DVD August 2. Expect Season 2 in November and Season 3 in February.
