Default Do you get Drawn into the show emotionally?

I love this show, but sometimes, when things go wrong for ray, i kind of feel bad for him, like when debra gets mad at him...or when something is going on over at rays house, then marie & frank come over and screw things up... i literally get annoyed, i guess its the good acting of the show & the good writing, but anyone else feel this way?

My wife sympathizes with Debra. My mother can be a little pushy at times.

I often felt horrible for Ray because I think he was unfairly treated. Debra had a lot of reasonable qualms but sometimes she blew things WAY out of proportion and Ray suffered an unfair wrath.

Hola!

I recently saw the episode where Robert proposes to Amy wearing his dress blues, and it made me tear up a bit. These two characters were made for each other, slightly ackward, slightly nerdy, starnge people who found each other. You also see Robert finally getting what Raymond has, a good career with a wife.

I think that people should have show alot more sympathy to Debra,
instead of calling her a husband beater.I mean she did smack Ray a few
times and it did get a little out of hand in some episodes. But I would do the
same thing if I were married to some like Ray. He never wanted to help
around the house and stuff. I always felt sorry for her though.

Yeah - Debra for sure! There are times my husband can be just like Raymond (or Kevin James on KoQ even) and I know how they feel!

Actually, I just saw the ep when Robert asks Amy to marry him and I get emotional at the scene when he asks her. Its was PERFECTLY done!

I also really feel for Robert. Poor guy - he's basically honest, hardworking, loving, caring and considerate and gets bashed non-stop by Marie, everyone else and life in general!

This show was like an grown-up version of ''The Facts Of Life.''
It listed all the problems adults go through.
