Hard to say - anything's possible these days I guess!

I'll bet it is for real - a little tongue in cheek to get their point across, but still real!

They aren't handing out real guns. I agree with them. They are fighting a ban agianst toy guns. The parents should dicide what toy the child gets, not the government.

It's a first for me!

I got hell from my sister-in-law for giving my nephew a "cowboy" kit for Christmas one year - hat, badge, toy gun and holster. Apparently she felt he was going to go out and terrorize the neighbourhood. Maybe take his teacher hostage? Maybe if she knew how to raise her kid properly and just explain that it's a toy there wouldn't be a problem?!

I used to play Cowboys all the time and I never turned into a mass murderer.

i ain't got a problem w/ kids playing with toy guns as long as the parents have enough common sense to stop any behavior that they see that could lead to something worse... or at least sit the kid down and explain that no matter what, never point a gun towards someone (when i was little, we were allowed to play w/ toy guns but never allowed to point them at someone... i guess that way if for some unknown reason we found a way to get a hold of a real one we wouldn't point it at someone)

I just hate it when they are loud and annoying! makes me wanna pull my hair
