I liked the one that had the Gift of the Magi theme. This was a good show, didn't anyone else like it?

My favorite episode was THE LANDLADY, in which Kate & Allie pretended to be lesbian in order to avert a rent increase. I purchased the script from SCRIPT CITY, which may or may not have it on sale.

I LOVED "KATE&ALLIE" VERY MUCH AND IT WAS NICE TO WATCHIT ON E! WHEN IT WAS ON THERE.I'M GLAD THAT IT IS BACK ON OXYGEN ALTHOUGH IT IS A WEIRD NETWORK FOR THAT SHOW.IT SHOULD BE ON "TV LAND" OR NICK AT NITE" BUT I GUESS IT IS OK ON OXYGEN.I DON'T REMEMBER VERY MUCH ABOUT THIS SHOW ALTHOUGH I SAW IT ALOT WHEN I WAS GROWING UP BUT MY FAVORITE EPISODE WAS PROBABLY THE LAST ONE I BELIEVE IN WHICH CHIP AND ALLIE HAVE SOME SORT OF DISCUSSION AND I BELIEVE ALLIE FALLS IN LOVE.DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?

My fave episode of all time is the one where Allie has a nevus (mole) removed from her butt. Hilarious. Best sit-com episode ever. Very well written and performed.

Yes, that was a very interesting episode and ahead of its time.

I also like the episode where Allie gets stranded 100 blocks away from home and has to panhandle. A very moving episode.

I was a young girl when this show ran so I lean more toward the Jenny Has A Boyfriend Episodes. Her boyfriend (Ricky Paul Goldin)was an absolute dolly!!! I like the first one he's in (he originally liked Emma)and also the one where Allie suspected Jenny and her boyfriend were thinking about having sex (they were).I loved Jenny and Emma and am surprised we dont se more of them...Allison Smith and Ari Meyers...or really ANY of them anymore!WHERE'D THEY GO????

I enjoyed their Halloween episodes. They went all out! The one that sticks in my memory is when K A had a seance and everyone saw this ghostly thing in the room. Kate thought it was Allie trying to spook things up for the kids and it turned out to be a real ghost. I was babysitting my nephew who was 2 and just when the show ended, he looked into the dark hallway behind us and said "ghost". When I turned around to look this cold breeze came out of nowhere and scared me. Of course no doors and windows were open.

Hey, my fav was the one with their ex-college professor, Owen Ives! I really laughed at that one!
The one that Kate quit smoking as a New Years resolution was nice too! Me and my buddy kept that as a tradition (for many years), as we used to see that episode on new years eve, while smoking and eating chocolate!
Episode 100 was nice too (the goof-real thing)!

I think my favorite is the Maltese Falcon ep, the one where Emma's dad sends her that pottery thing for her b-day, and all these people start coming around to get it from her 8)

I think i got hooked on K&A when I saw an episode where a client for the catering business kept changing the menu for a party at his home. Then there was a flashback where Kate and Allie were working at a sewing sweatshop. I was surprised that the show was so funny.

I was totally hooked when I saw the Landlady episode. The one that was mentioned, regarding the landlady giving a break to Kate and Allie, believing they also are gay and as a "family", are exempt for a rent increase.

I get Oxygen and the show comes on when I'm trying to get up out of bed, 7:30 a.m. here in the Pacifiic time zone.

I have to admit it was hard for me to like K&A because as a teen, my mom loved K&A. Therefore, it wasn't cool for me to like K&A. I thought the two girls were not cool also. (Molly Ringwald was cool but not Jennie and Emma.)

Now, i can see that this show seeks to be simple and funny to show women that they can bounce back after a divorce by returning to whatever it was that made them happy.

I agree on the episode where Allie has the mole removed. Brilliantly funny!

My second favorite show is when Jenny sang Goodbye to You. She did a better job than the Scandals! I ran around the house pretending to be her singing Goodbye to You at the top of my lungs for god knows how long. Sigh, def the good ole days.

Also, because I grew up watching the show, age same as chip, I looked to Emma for fashion and hair tips, so any show with her featured, I appreciated.

Well, I couldn't name just one - there are so many great moments in this series! From what I have seen (some of 86-87, all of 87-88, most of 88-89), here are some of the great moments...

-K & A in the sweatshop dream sequence - Allie replying to Kate in some Scandinavian language was hilarious!!!

-The one where Kate finds herself with too many dates for one night (or something...?) and keeps making excuses about having dinner with her Aunt. Well, she's at this bar waiting for one of them, and she eventually has to make excuses to both, etc. The scene in the bar with her, the piano player & running back and forth trying to hide from her 2 boyfriends, and calling her "aunt" is excellent. Her timing, facial expressions, everything are impeccable - a great episode!

-The 100th episode "goof-reel" as someone else mentioned, was really funny!

-The Christmas episode where everything gets stolen. They have to work hard all day the next day and the film and audio are sped up to show the hurry!

-The last season eps I mentioned before with Kate substituting the cooking class, and Allie popping the chip bag...

Anyway, I'm sure I could go on, but I'll stop here. Anyone who's seen this show enough knows there's too many great moments too list
