Default Are you still waiting for your ultimate favorite to be released on dvd?

I know Sasette is happy to have Lois and Clark, and TVAdam was eager for NewsRadio. How many are still waiting for their number one most wanted show to be released?

For me, I wouldn't say Good Times is my all-time favorite above everything else, but it's a show I grew up watching and it was always a show that was special to me for some reason. I remember a couple of years ago when I saw on a website that a Good Times Season One dvd was coming out, I jumped out of my seat with excitement. I was so happy about being able to own those episodes and watch as often as I wanted.

A lot of my all time favorites have come out: the Honeymooners, Three's Company, I Love Lucy, and A Different World is coming out soon. If I had to pick one show at this point I'll be the most excited about, it would probably be Fame. There's many others that I'm looking forward to, but the day I hear that Fame Season One will be released is a day I'll be very, very happy.

So the question is what ONE show you're dying to see released on dvd, if it hasn't come out already? (Season twos of shows like Diff'rent Strokes or Who's The Boss don't count).

it's not my absolute all-time favorite show.... but I am definately holding onto the hope that one day we're going to see Facts Of Life out on DVD. I can just see Sony releasing seasons 1 and 2 together. It's not my #1 show, but it is definately my favorite show not either on DVD or currently airing in syndication (unless you live in Illinois) and I cannot wait until Sony finally gets off their butt and announces it.

Even though I actuall ylike Roseanne more than FOL (FOL is definately in my all time top 5 tho), I am not as excited over that coming out on DVD as I would be over Facts, because Roseanne is so commonplace on television

Mostly all of my all-time favorites are out. I'm still waiting for Perfect Strangers, Small Wonder, 8 Simple Rules, Mr. Belvedere, One Day at a Time, Hooperman, the Three's Co spinoffs, among others. But since you said ONE ... I will choose Perfect Strangers.

My three most favorite series of all time (Cheers, Frasier, and Seinfeld) have all been released on DVD, and are just about half way done by now.

But, if I were to choose my most anticipated release would have to be "The Tortellis - The Complete Series"

A complete season set of SNL would be a close #2.

My very favourite show that I've been waiting for is Brimstone that was a shortlived show on Fox of course that was about Ezekiel Stone who made a deal with the devil to track down 113 escaped souls from hell in return for a second chance at life on earth. I hope and pray one day WB releases it.

Also I don't understand the holdup with The Real Ghostbusters, as of now basically every big 80s cartoon has come out or will be coming out and still nothing on the rader of this.

Pav, I would also like to see Perfect Strangers--but the ultimate for me would be uncut episodes of Chico and the Man!

You're one who'll probably get what you want, since Chico is supposed to be coming out soon and Warner is usually good about presenting things intact.

I had 5 shows that are a must for me to have on DVD. They are (in order):

1. NewsRadio
2. Taxi
3. Wings
4. Ellen
5. Boy Meets World

All but Wings have released some seasons. NewsRadio is my all-time favorite show and the show I wanted the most of all the others. Now that it's out, I'm really awaiting the news of "Wings" coming to DVD. And of course, the remainder of the other series.

The Odd Couple is # 6 on my list and Chico and the Man is # 8 (King of Queens is # 7, but that series is already being released).

A lot of my favorite programs have been released on DVD, but I would be thrilled if Police Woman was released on DVD (I always loved that show)

Just one? lol How hard! I'll have to say Wonder Years, with Blossom, The Facts of Life, and I'll Fly Away close enough.

#1 would probably be The Facts of Life, but there are many others I'd like to see including Gimme a Break, The Hogan Family, Mr. Belvedere, Webster, Silver Spoons, Family Ties, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, and Please Don't Eat the Daisies.

I really just want to see more seasons of shows like Happy Days and Diff'rent Strokes released at a more rapid rate. Atleast one season every six months.

My ultimate is WKRP in Cincinnati.

And with the music rights issues, I'm not holding my breath.
With that uphill battle it really makes it the ultimate release if they could get clearance for all the music.
