Post Kate & Allie on Oxygen

According to tv.excite.com Kate & Allie will begin Monday April 2 on Oxygen at 8:30am and 1:30pm. There is no mention of it at the Oxygen site. Not even in their online schedule. But it has it listed at excite. so who knows?

I love that Kate and Allie are back on TV on Oxygen! The little jokes that Oxygen runs underneath are fun, too. They totally enhance the show for me. What do you think of them?

I( don't get Oxygen in the Chicago market.

I miss the E! broadcasts that came on every day at 1:30 PM. I identified with Emma and Jenny, as I was the same exact age as they were.

Still. no Oxygen in the Chicago market.

How odd, considering not only is Chicago is the #3 market in the country, but Oprah, who is the basis for Oxygen, does her show from Chicago.

Maybe soon.

And still no Kate and Allie in the great city of Chicago.

What a shame.

What a shame.

Woo-hoo!

Oxygen was just added to the Chicago market this week.

Kate & Allie are on every day at 1 PM Central time.

They are right in the middle of the 86-87 season when Susan St. James was obviously pregnant, and all the tricks they used to hide it was funny and obvious.

I don't get Oxygen but hopefully my cable company will pick it up soon. It'd be great to see Kate & Allie again. I used to watch it back when it was airing on E!

Thumbs down

Well, Kate & Allie have been regulated to the early morning shift.

Very distressing.

I very much looked forward to the 1 PM time slot.

I can't understand why they were shifted to such an ungodly hour.

Aw, that sucks...it was really the only one decent show they had on there...I have the whole series on tape except for a few episodes I'll have to keep an eye out for...but, if any other stations air this, I'll definitely tape them again. The black bar IS annoying...

But, thankfully, the black bar is gone now (at least it was yesterday, lol).

I, unfortunately, can't see another network picking it up, unless WE suddenly decides to air classic sitcoms (and also, if Oxygen is losing the rights..?, it doesn't seem like it to me).

Is the black bar really gone?

If it is I'll be really mad. Taping this show religously for months to get every episode and now the black bar is gone and the show is leaving...

I would actually think this show might run somewhere else. Nick at Nite seems sort of logical given their "modern TV classics" motto, it might fit right in. It would be a refreshing change if you ask me...
