A few years ago I saw an episode of Unsolved Mysteries where a family moved into an old big house. Slowly eerie things began to happen to all of them. They had 2 boys and I think a daughter. The boys slept downstairs in the basement and began to see this scary ghost in there basement. Ends up the other room in the basement used to be used as a morgue. Does anyone know the name of this episode or have it taped? It is driving me crazy!!
Thanks in advance for your help! Kathison |

I think what you saw wasn't an episode of Unsolved Mysteries but rather a documentary called a Haunting in Massachusetts (might be another state). The family believed their son was crazy and sent him away yet the house remained haunted. He saw visions of the devil and priests were sent to exorcise the house. I loved it! TLC showed it around Halloween time.

I've seen that too. It was called A Haunting in Connecticut. It was pretty good.

That was on yesterday, on the Discovery Channel. Scary stuff went on, that's for sure. I tuned in when it was almost over so I don't know the background on the case. That part I saw was where this paranormal expert was in the house at night while the family slept, sitting at a desk. He suddenly felt a freezing chill come over him and a feeling of something beckoning him to the basement. When he opened to basement door, there was a man with black eyes staring up at him from below with immense hatred on his face. Suddenly, a huge ball of fire shot up the stairs and almost engulfed the paranormal expert. He left that same night and never returned.
He was interviewed for the show and said that it was the worst fear he ever experienced. Well, no kidding!
