bonkers?

my friends and family think I am bonkers and have a vivid imagination. Please help me I know I am right. A sitcom with the theme tune 'would you like to swing on a star, carry moonbeams home in a jar' it was about a girl who was awitch i think and her father had apssed away or was on another planet and she could see him through a glass ball or a bowl. I think it is called girl meets owrld or maybe not. Ta x

this was syndicaited 1980's classic Out of This World. It lasted about 2 or three seasons and was sort of cute but very low budget. i don't think it has been reran in years.

I remember this was one of those "Prime Time at 6:30" (I'm in the Central Time Zone) shows that NBC tried its hand with in the fall of 1987. Each night featured a sitcom airing 1/2 hour before "prime time" actually started. "Out of This World" was one of them, along with "She's the Sheriff", "Marblehead Manor" and two other shows that have completely escaped me.

I loved this show as a child. For years I couldn't remember what it was (and it drove me mad!) and then I found out online. I love the internet. It was shown on Trouble in the UK a few years ago but they haven't aired it since, and they didn't show all of the episodes for some reason...most, but not all. Shame, it was a cute show.
